Locomotion is the most basic and informative assay of animal behavior in experimentation, providing measures of motor function, activity levels, and disposition. LocoScan provides automated analysis of where the animal is traveling in the behavioral apparatus, as well as velocity and distance throughout, providing essential measures for additional comparisons.
